As a child growing up in Waukesha, I was plagued by respiratory infections; averaging 3-5 episodes of
bronchitis or pneumonia per year from 3rd-5th grade. I remember having the conversation with my parents as a fifth grader
having missed my 42nd day of school, in which we were trying to decide if I would need to repeat 5th grade due to my extended absence. This
bout of illness was diagnosed as walking pneumonia, a sinus infection, sinusitis, and two ear
infections and asthma. I was prescribed fourteen different medications throughout the episode, which gave me
severe diarrhea, indigestion and a yeast infection. Unfortunately, none of these treatments were successful in restoring
Sick with frustration, my parents decided to take my Grandmother's advice to see a "Choir-practor".
They took me to see Dr. Robert Hanacik. We were put at ease by the calm, laid-back feel of the
clinic and the attitude of hope that Dr. Bob exuded. He found the regions of my spine contributing
to my problems and skillfully corrected them. After a number of treatments/adjustments, I was
quickly back at school. To this day, I have not had the need for an antibiotic.
I am a graduate of Waukesha North High School where I was active in ice hockey, volleyball,
marching band and drama. I then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I met my wife
Sara and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology (animal biology). I received my
Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. At Palmer
College, I worked as a dissector for the Anatomy Department and a teaching assistant for the
Technique (adjusting methods) Department where I became proficient in a variety of techniques but ultimately chose to focus on the work of Dr. CS Gonstead. I was also humbly elected as Vice President of my
During my last trimester at Palmer, I was able to intern with Dr. Michael Rozenblum in
Albuquerque, NM at one of the most successful Gonstead Chiropractic clinics
in the World. Dr. Rozenblum formally taught globally at Gonstead Seminar of Chiropractic.
My wife, Sara, is a native of Rice Lake, WI and works as a pharmacist for Genoa Healthcare.
We have three wonderful sons; Cameron, Luke and Reed. I am out of the office on Wednesdays to spend time with them when
Sara is working. I am thankful for the opportunity to share the parenting load. We are members
of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Nashotah. We enjoy traveling, fishing, reading, bike
riding and taking walks. I am also an avid movie buff, although lately I have been
watching primarily Disney/Pixar movies.
I look forward to meeting you and your family soon.
